InboundWriter Debuts New Advertising Feature to Help Google AdSense™ Publishers Better Monetize Their Content

Cloud-Based Content Optimization Product First to Integrate Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Insights Into the Content Creation Process

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - Dec 7, 2011) - Eightfold Logic, Inc., an inbound marketing innovator, today announced the launch of a new advertising capability for its InboundWriter service that is designed to help Google AdSense™ publishers, including bloggers, better monetize their content.

With the new capability, content publishers who are leveraging Google AdSense will be able to tailor their content strategy for keywords with the highest cost-per-click (CPC) rating. By optimizing around CPC, publishers will be able to attract higher paying text ads and banners served via the AdSense network, which delivers contextually relevant advertising.

"For the first time, publishers and bloggers using Google AdSense will be able to monetize their content as they type," said Jay Baer, a social media strategist and president of "This is an important new capability that raises the bar for digital and SEO content optimization."

According to Google, there are more than two million publishers, including bloggers, using the AdSense network to better monetize their content. InboundWriter, an online content creation and optimization service, is also looking to incorporate data from other advertising networks in the future.

How InboundWriter's New Advertising Strategy Works
By adding the new feature, InboundWriter users can now make selections across three different content strategy options: search competition, reader targeting and advertising. Based on the user's selections, InboundWriter will provide a unique set of keyword recommendations, as well as automated recommendations on how to best structure the content for maximum search visibility.

For Advertising Strategy, users are asked whether contextual advertising (Google AdSense) is "very important," "somewhat important," or "not important at all" to their content strategy. If it is, InboundWriter will factor CPC pricing, extracted from trusted third-party sources, into its keyword recommendations. Users can easily view the CPC rating for each term with a click of the mouse.

The new advertising feature is just one of several new upgrades both for the web application and a new InboundWriter for WordPress plug-in that was launched in October. The other upgrades include:

  • Content Strategies -- InboundWriter for WordPress now allows users to choose one or more content strategies, including the new advertising capability, just like the web application

  • Automatic Topic Research -- Users can paste in some content, or just start typing. Once they get to 200 words, InboundWriter for WordPress will analyze their content and automatically recommend the best keywords and phrases for improving relevance and search engine visibility

  • Research Your Topic Again -- If users don't like the keyword results they are getting, they can click on the "Research My Topic Again" to re-start their search and get all new results

InboundWriter offers a free plan and an unlimited account for $20 per month. To sign up for both the web application and the new plugin, please visit
