Incentive Lab Appoints Jack Zwingli as Chief Executive Officer

Announces Release of Proprietary Compensation Databases

SCOTTSDALE, AZ--(Marketwired - June 04, 2013) -  Incentive Lab, providing unique data and proprietary insight into executive compensation practices, today announced the appointment of Jack Zwingli as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

A highly-regarded 30-year senior executive and an expert in executive compensation and corporate governance, Mr. Zwingli most recently headed the Information Services division of Farient Advisors, an executive compensation consulting firm. At Farient, he led the successful launch of Farient's Performance Alignment Reports, and authored ground breaking research on executive pay and performance. Prior to Farient, Mr. Zwingli was CEO of GMI Ratings, where he integrated three research businesses into a global governance leader. He also ran the institutional and retail research divisions at Standard & Poor's.

"We are delighted to have Jack join at this exciting inflection point in our business," said Dr. Carr Bettis, founder and chairman of Incentive Lab. "Incentive Lab was created to correctly value and forecast pay and understand the effects of incentive compensation. To do that, we have paired unique data on performance-based pay with scientific advances from our academic and financial engineering teams. Jack's strong reputation as a business leader and his experience with product and service innovation is a perfect fit for Incentive Lab as we move from research and development to delivery of exciting new services."

Incentive Lab also announced the release of its one-of-a-kind 14-year time series of executive data for academic research as well as its custom data and research services for companies and compensation consultants.

"With the rapid increase in performance-based pay, it has been said that executive compensation has become like a slot machine -- pull the lever and see what comes up," said Mr. Zwingli. "Executives, boards and others need a clear line of sight into the value of executive compensation. I am very excited to build on the great foundation Incentive Lab has created -- data plus science -- to help companies identify the right performance metrics, intelligently value pay and best align performance incentives with intended goals."
