Inception Media Group Pre-Buys Two Horror Films Slated to Begin Production in Winter 2012

"DEADlocked" and "Vampires vs. Leprechauns" Are Company's First Pre-Production Commitments

TORONTO--(Marketwire - Sep 10, 2012) - Inception Media Group, LLC, a diversified media company specializing in the production, acquisition and distribution of entertainment content, today announced from the Toronto International Film Festival that it has acquired the rights to "DEADlocked" and "Vampires vs. Leprechauns" from Causeway Pictures. Both films are slated to start production by the end of the year and deliver in spring 2013. This marks the first time Inception has pre-bought a film prior to the start of production. Inception has secured all North American rights to the films, including theatrical, digital, television and home video.

"DEADlocked" and "Vampires vs. Leprechauns" were both written by Belfast-based writer Spencer Wright ("Red Mist"). All principal photography will be taking place in Northern Ireland.

Horror comedy "Vampires vs. Leprechauns" will be directed by Allan Gidea ("The Patrol") and set in the small Irish village of Comhla Breac, which over the space of one night is besieged by a group of vampires seeking to open a gateway to hell. A secret lies hidden beneath the sleepy village, one known only to Conroy the last of the Seanchai (Irish Storytellers). Locals find themselves attacked by creatures of the night intent on releasing the evil that lurks in the deep. Lead by Conroy they must fight to survive. But do they have to stand alone?

Dark horror "DEADlocked" will be directed The Tohill Brothers ("Eyeline") and is set in a fictional Belfast office block where an 'Alan Sugar' type character manipulates his underlings during a violent virus breakout caused by an ash cloud. When volcanic ash turns the residents of Belfast into frenzied zombie-like psychopaths, a group of bankers find themselves trapped in their corporate ivory tower as the epidemic rages. People exposed to the ash cloud for too long are succumbing to a 'grey fever' their eyes and mouth stream grey ichor, their brains bubbling in the grip of a blood lust. Our corporate sharks' only means of escape is a dangerous floor-by-floor journey to the roof where the CEO is banking on the greed of his private helicopter pilot for a ride out.
