Incuity EMI™ Version 2.4 Helps Manufacturing Enterprises Improve Equipment Effectiveness and Optimize Production Performance

MISSION VIEJO, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 12, 2007 -- Incuity Software, Inc. today announced the release of Version 2.4 of Incuity EMI™, a business intelligence product that helps companies integrate their silos of existing business and plant floor data and gain deeper insight into their manufacturing operations.

The new Incuity EMI 2.4 package includes pre-configured templates that allow users to tailor applications for viewing and analyzing data from multiple sources and databases anywhere in the company, to streamline operations and enhance productivity.

"Production personnel want to monitor key metrics such as overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), cost per unit produced, and percentage manufactured to promise, in order to be able to drill down from these metrics to analyze and resolve problems," said John Theron, Incuity's Chief Product Officer. "At the same time, management wants to be able to easily equate these results to overall business performance for the entire company.

"Incuity EMI connects to multiple different information systems to enable the calculation of these metrics and to provide access to the underlying data," he added. "Our new application templates for batch analysis, downtime reporting, OEE, state tracking, process data aggregation and KPI creation contain dashboards and reports for monitoring and analyzing key metrics. Customers can now easily build their own applications on top of existing information assets without being forced to rip-and-replace their legacy systems.

"The real power of these capabilities is that users can navigate through data without seeing it as different islands," Theron noted. "Any system can drill into its own data, but no other solution can effectively deal with external data, as Incuity can."

Incuity 2.4 now also supports international versions of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Office, as well as Microsoft Windows Vista clients and Microsoft Office 2007. Enhanced database and OPC connectivity as well as new modeling tools make it easy to integrate and organize all manufacturing data in Incuity's Unified Production Model. New wizards inside Excel and the Incuity portal and new trending and plotting capabilities provide easy access to the information to anyone familiar with using a browser or Excel.

Pricing for a typical Incuity system, with connectivity to both business and manufacturing applications, starts at around $25,000. Incuity EMI 2.4 is available now for immediate shipping.
