KOLKATA, INDIA--(Marketwire - September 10, 2010) -  Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas) -- The Indian government is setting up a task force to frame corrective measures for persistent slippages in power-generation targets. The task force will comprise officials from the ministries of Power, Finance, Industries and Environment, and the Planning Commission.

"The causes of missing targets for increasing power generation are fairly well known.
