LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - June 02, 2014) - Indi.com announces the signing of its first two artists to recording deals: NBC's "The Voice" Star, Pip -- who, as his national TV debut, sang his way onto Team Adam Levine, and Jierra Clark -- an accomplished artist whose Indi.com Original Song Challenge submission became an instant success in its first 24 hours.
"The 'price' of seeking fame leaves most artists deep in debt over marketing, recording and various other expenses," says Indi.com Founder Neel Grover. "Our goal is to create a sustainable future for artists in the digital era while demystifying the business process, in order to attract talent and level the playing field."
Pip's new hit single "Hooked," by Skrillex producer Noah Shain, brings a fresh pop twist mixed with an old school funk sound, and soulful vocals that had Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Cee-Lo Green and Blake Shelton all fighting for his attention on The Voice.
Jierra comes to Indi.com after having written hundreds of songs and performing in shows across the world. Her album, including her promising hit song "Mr. Worthless," is currently in production.
Indi.com partners with its recording artists to provide production, marketing and distribution support to set them up for long-term success.
"Hooked" is now available on iTunes, Amazon and other major outlets, including ringtones, and is distributed by Indi.com/Bungalo Records/Universal Music Group Distribution.
