Indigo Books & Music announced today's arrival of the Giller Prize Winning Book, The Sentimentalists, in stores across the country. Due to limited production runs copies of the most highly anticipated book of the season had previously been virtually impossible to find in store since the award was announced November 9th, 2010.

According to Bahram Olfati, "The Sentimentalists is great Canadian fiction that can now be read by customers from coast to coast. We're excited that Gaspereau Press worked with Douglas and Macintyre to arrive at the best possible solution for both the author, Johanna Skibsrud, and Canadian booklovers. We think The Sentimentalists will be a big seller, not only because it's been so hard to find a physical copy, but because it's a fantastic Canadian novel."

The book is now available at Indigo in trade paperback, and electronically through chapters.indigo.ca, which now accepts Indigo Gift Cards for the purchase of eBooks.

Kobo initially partnered with Biblioasis, Gaspereau Press, and Thomas Allen & Sons to convert their books into eBook editions to ensure availability. Kobo has been selling the entire shortlist since October 15.
