Indosat Leverages Evolving Systems' DSA Solution to Deliver New Product and Tariff Plan

ENGLEWOOD, CO--(Marketwire - Jun 29, 2011) - Evolving Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: EVOL), a leading provider of software solutions and services to the wireless, wireline and cable markets, today announced that Indosat's new product and tariff plan for wireless customers, called "Indosat Mobile," is being exclusively offered via Evolving Systems' Dynamic SIM Allocation™ (DSA) solution.

Indosat Mobile is a breakthrough new service presented by Indosat for its cellular customers that provides a variety of features, such as free calls, free SMS, free data access and the freedom to choose a desired number through the DSA solution.

The DSA solution allows prepaid subscribers to choose either a daily, weekly or monthly tariff package when they activate their phone and postpaid customers a monthly only tariff package, using one of the new DSA SIM cards which have been distributed nationwide.

Indosat selected DSA for the rollout of the new plan partly because it had already been using the solution successfully for activating new customers since summer 2010, but primarily because of its flexibility and versatility.

"The generic nature of DSA-based activation allows subscribers to choose one of the new tariffs but also to select any of the other packages and tariff plans we offer," says Laszlo Barta, Director and Chief Commercial Officer at Indosat. "The ability to use one type of SIM card for any tariff plan in any part of Indonesia, rather than having to use multiple card types, is a major benefit, enabling us to significantly reduce inventory and distribution costs."

Indosat is also using the DSA solution to give subscribers the ability to select their own mobile number. Customers can choose their own number for just Rp3,000 (approximately 20 US cents) or can select from a range of special 'golden numbers' priced between US$3 and US$100.

Indosat Mobile launched nationwide using a combination of television commercials, print media, digital marketing through social network and mobile advertising.
