The Lodge and Spa at Callaway Gardens, Autograph Collection Resort offers unique Culinary Team Building experiences designed to motivate groups to work together and achieve united productivity. Cleverly positioning these teamwork exercises into planned group dining events, savvy business owners and executives can ignite excitement among personnel while allowing all participants to enjoy the serene and inspiring surroundings portrayed by impressive Callaway Gardens' events.
Sharing their passion for food and love of creating, preparing and consuming the wonderful delights offered by the culinary world, the resort's team of professional chefs works diligently every day to successfully provide guests with quality food and beverage. Whether serving inside the Piedmont Grill, the hotel's Callaway Gardens restaurant, or catering special menus for up to 1,000 persons attending corporate events or elegant weddings at Callaway Gardens; teamwork is essential to the resort's success. Recognizing the value of this special fellowship in the kitchen, the resort has designed two exciting Camaraderie Team Building Exercises to:
1. Unite teams to successfully achieve a common goal, and
2. Allow teams to compete against each other in an effort to produce the best meal.
With Option 1, teams utilize an interactive cooking demonstration led by one of the resort's head chefs for a unique culinary experience. Whether preparing lunch or dinner, the group, divided into cooking teams of five or six persons, will be responsible for the meal preparation.
Those participating in Option 2 will again work in groups of five or six persons, with one to be assigned as captain. Teams will then be given a "secret ingredient" around which they will plan their menu. Teams will prepare enough of the main dishes to feed their group, plus a sample plate, which will be used by their own chosen "judges" to rate their culinary success. The resort kitchen will supplement the main dishes with appropriate starch, vegetable and dessert selections.
Events can be held for lunch or dinner, with a variety of menu options starting as low as $55 per person. Meal accompaniments are served family-style with a plated dessert upon completion of the Cooking Comradery Challenge.
