Industek Inc. Receives Financial Support from Government of Canada


VICTORIAVILLE, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Sept. 24, 2013) - The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, today announced that the firm Industek Inc. has been granted financial assistance for the expansion of its plant and acquisition of manufacturing equipment.

"The Government of Canada believes economic prosperity is achieved through investments like the one Industek is making to improve its productivity and boost its manufacturing capabilities," said Minister Lebel.

Industek Inc. specializes in the manufacture of recycling and waste management equipment. This funding from Canada Economic Development will enable the firm to increase its productivity, diversify its product line, consolidate six permanent jobs and create an additional eight new positions.

This assistance, granted in the form of a $150,000 repayable financial contribution, has been awarded through Canada Economic Development's Quebec Economic Development Program.
