Industrial Defender Expands Headquarters and Executive Team to Meet Growing Critical Infrastructure Cyber Security Market

Increased Cyber Security Attacks Worldwide Drive Unprecedented Company Growth

FOXBOROUGH, MA--(Marketwire - March 4, 2009) - In response to the growing demand for its Defense-in-Depth™ cyber security solutions, Industrial Defender, Inc., the global leader in Cyber Risk Protection™, today announced that it has expanded its offices in Foxborough, Massachusetts. Industrial Defender has nearly tripled its square footage, increasing from 7,000 to 20,440 square feet, to accommodate a newly outfitted Security Operations Center (SOC) and unprecedented employee growth, including a 100 percent increase in headcount since January 2008 and a 20 percent increase forecasted through the remainder of 2009. Industrial Defender has also appointed James Blaschke to Vice President of Worldwide Sales and TC Lau to the position of Vice President of Professional Services.

"In spite of the weakening global economy, Industrial Defender continues a vigorous investment strategy to maintain the global market leadership position that we have created over the past seven years," said Brian M. Ahern, President and CEO of Industrial Defender. "Our aggressive headquarters expansion and hiring mirrors the escalating market need for critical infrastructure cyber security protection."

President Barack Obama has clearly identified cyber security as a top priority with plans to appoint the country's first National Cyber Advisor. Reporting directly to the President, the Advisor would be responsible for enhancing the cyber security posture of the nation's critical information networks and increasing investments and research on cyber security. Against this backdrop, organizations which control our nation's critical infrastructures, including those within the oil and gas, transportation and chemical sectors, are furthering their investment in cyber security protection and are looking to solution providers like Industrial Defender to help protect their industrial control system and SCADA environments from potential cyber attacks.

The new space accommodates a leading-edge SOC for Industrial Defender's Managed Security Services platform, which manages and monitors over 160 critical infrastructure process control plants in 21 countries. The operation also houses a state-of-the-art SCADA Security lab, an R&D and Services lab facility, as well as a secure, high availability data center to service Industrial Defender's present and future IT requirements.

To support ongoing activity driven by the headquarters expansion, Blaschke is responsible for product and service revenue generation worldwide, managing Industrial Defender's global sales and channels team. He brings more than 28 years of sales, business development, channel, OEM partner and marketing experience with technology companies ranging from startups to the Fortune 50. Lau is responsible for Industrial Defender's client services delivery and managed security service operations. He joins Industrial Defender with over 20 years of high technology services industry experience including founding Context Integration, a nationwide business system integrator company.

The expanded headquarters facility opened on February 27th, 2009.
