Industrial Info Puts Stock in Future Growth by Expanding International Coverage

SUGAR LAND, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 30, 2007 -- At Industrial Info Resources (IIR) we strive to not only follow the ever-changing marketplace, but to stay ahead of the curve as well. That is one of the many reasons IIR is expanding and enhancing international project coverage. One such enhancement is including project coverage of other industries such as Pulp & Paper, Pharmaceutical & Biotech, and Alternative Fuels. Along with current coverage in Power, Petroleum Refining, Chemical Processing, Metals & Minerals, and LNG, these industry additions provide more opportunities for our clients in the global industrial market.

IIR is also expanding the amount of project coverage in China, which has surpassed the United States as the second largest exporter in the world and is predicted to overtake Germany, currently number one, in 2008. Over the past five years, many international companies have formed joint ventures with Chinese companies to invest and construct numerous multi-billion dollar complexes. China is currently the fastest growing economy and as China's economy grows, so do the opportunities. After surveying and listening to our clients' needs and wants, a commitment to increase industrial reporting in China has been initiated. "What is important to me as a business owner is that the client receives the best product in the timeliest manner and feels that the information contained is essential for their business. China is the hottest market in the world and there is no way I would neglect taking advantage of our resources and technology to ensure success for our clients during this wave of growth," stated Ed Lewis, President and CEO of Industrial Info Resources. In the first three months of 2007 almost as many projects have been reported and released in China than were released in all of 2006 for that country.

We have formed relationships and are developing alliances with many China-based companies and industrial news agencies. In some instances Industrial Info is the first partnership these entities have ever had, let alone the first U.S. company to partner with them. We have employed several Chinese writers for our industrial-related articles and continue to grow that pool of talent. These are individuals that are involved in the industrial sector in China and have the background and working knowledge of how industry develops and the process of projects coming to fruition.

We are working with translators in China to ensure that we are reporting on projects as they are being planned and announced, giving our clients the earliest opportunity to be a part of this burgeoning sector of the country. Our contacts are professionals in industrial reporting and translating, and some are among the top decision makers in the industries we track. These contacts have been versed in the quality and timeliness of the information that is forwarded to us, which allows our production department to continue the research to a deeper level, placing Industrial Info ahead and above any competition in the market intelligence industry.

IIR's daily international news coverage has doubled, leading to a 40% increase of total daily news releases. We have established news desks in Argentina, Johannesburg, South Africa and Beijing, China. IIR's Power Department is aggressively growing plant and unit databases in South America and Europe, with China following later in the year. Britt Burt, Vice President of Research Power Industry for IIR, emphasized, "We are extremely excited about our expanded project coverage in China, which is one of many new product enhancements currently being implemented. We are also creating an operational plant database for Central and South America and an installed base directory of power plants in Europe." The Oil and Gas Production Department is expanding its international LNG and GTL project report database.

The Petroleum Refining Department has been growing international coverage by leaps and bounds over the past twelve months. With an established database of 56 operational refineries covering 20 countries spread out over Central and South America, Industrial Info is tracking maintenance turnarounds and capital projects that include area and unit contacts at these refineries. The total crude refining capacity of the combined sites is close to six million barrels a day. Chris Paschall, Vice President of Research Refining Industry for IIR, explained, "We are pursuing the developing markets in South America to provide our clients the opportunities for success across the international market. South America provides a unique advantage for refining because of the commitment to producing clean fuels, equaling additional spending to improve efficiency in existing units and, in some cases, adding units to produce product." Monthly report coverage for this region is increasing by 20% to 30%. Industrial Info's European refining database is also increasing with information on the areas and units, along with the respective contacts, that exist in these refineries. Capital projects and maintenance turnarounds at these sites are being tracked and updated by Industrial Info Resources.

So if you find yourself in Rosemont, Illinois during the ELECTRIC POWER 2007 Tradeshow and Conference (Tuesday, May 1 through Thursday, May 3, 2007) at the Donald E.
