Industrial Projects Totaling $414 Billion Under Construction in the Americas, an Industrial Info News Alert

SUGAR LAND, TX--(Marketwire - November 18, 2010) - Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas) is tracking more than 2,100 industrial projects representing $414 billion under construction in the Americas. The United States leads the Americas with almost $218 billion under construction, while Brazil is second position with 118 projects totaling $62 billion. Canada is third with 251 projects totaling $60 billion. The Power Industry accounts for 42% of the value of projects under construction in the Americas. This includes projects like the Central Termoelectrica Angamos coal-fired power station under construction in Mejillones, Chile.
