Industry Experts to Discuss Software Transformation in Today's Application Economy at 2014 CA Technologies Government Summit

Walter Isaacson, Patrick Tucker Join CA CEO Mike Gregoire in Event Roster of Leading Industry Experts

WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwired - October 14, 2014) - CA Technologies has announced additions to the program for the 2014 CA Technologies Government Summit, "Invent Tomorrow's Government, Today" on October 20, 2014. Aspen Institute President and CEO Walter Isaacson and Defense One tech editor Patrick Tucker have now been confirmed as speakers.

The Forum will feature a keynote presentation from CA Technologies CEO Mike Gregoire, and will focus on how government agencies and their employees can make better use of software tools and applications to drive efficient operations -- and incorporate greater innovation into government today.

The event, produced by Government Executive Media Group, the government and defense division of Atlantic Media, will focus on topics such as IT for mobile, secure information sharing, and preventing cyber attacks. 

Isaacson, who has previously served as chairman and CEO of CNN and editor of Time magazine, will deliver a keynote from 9:00-9:40am. In addition to his post as Aspen Institute CEO, Isaacson is the chair emeritus of Teach for America.

Defense One tech editor Patrick Tucker will deliver the third keynote address, following CA Technologies CEO Michael P. Gregoire and Walter Isaacson. Tucker has written on emerging technology for The Futurist, where he served as deputy editor for nine years, as well as for Slate, MIT Technology Review, Wilson Quarterly, BBC News Magazine, and other publications.
