Industry Icon Tom McCarthy Joins Cushman & Wakefield

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Aug. 12, 2013) - Tom McCarthy, a respected icon of the real estate industry, has joined Cushman & Wakefield as Vice-Chair, effective September 3, 2013.

Last year Tom received the Lifetime Achievement Award from NAIOP. The award acknowledges a long history of contributions to the industry and to the broader community through his voluntary work on various boards, including an 11 year term with St. Michael's Hospital.

In 1992, His Holiness Pope John Paul II appointed Tom a Knight Commander of the Order of St. Gregory The Great, the highest papal honour awarded to a Catholic layperson.
