Industry Minister James Moore Champions Canada in Silicon Valley

Minister Moore promoted Canada's plan for the digital economy to Canadian entrepreneurs and global executives in the Bay Area

Industry Minister James Moore today concluded a successful trip to the San Francisco Bay Area. While in Northern California, Minister Moore met with Canadian entrepreneurs and promoted Canada's digital advantage to some of the world's largest digital technology companies, including Google, Facebook, Microsoft and Twitter. The Minister also hosted a digital innovation forum with representatives from a number of leading Canadian companies doing business in Silicon Valley.

During these meetings, the Minister championed Canada as a top investment destination and source of leading-edge technological expertise. Canada has a great talent pool of highly skilled workers, strong institutions and a sound economy. These together make Canada an ideal place to create, to innovate and to build a business.
