Industry Veteran Joins Globecomm Executive Team


HAUPPAUGE, NY--(Marketwired - Jun 14, 2016) - Globecomm is proud to announce Mr. Bryan McGuirk has joined their executive team as Chief Commercial Officer, reporting to Jason D. Juranek, interim Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer.

In this role, Mr. McGuirk will lead the global commercial team to deliver consistent and profitable sales growth, to operate as a high-performance professional sales team and to achieve strong customer relationships and satisfaction around the globe.

He has more than 20 years of experience in driving and growing commercial sales across satellite, media and technology sectors. Prior to joining Globecomm, Mr. McGuirk served at ViviSat, where he was the Chief Operating Officer for nearly six years.

Before Vivisat he was President of Media and Enterprise Services at SES Americom, responsible for SES' commercial business in North America. Prior to his work at SES Mr. McGuirk held VP roles at NBC Networks in the US and Asia and served in leadership roles at Turner Broadcasting in Atlanta and Hong Kong.

Mr. McGuirk currently serves as Chairman of the Society of Satellite Professionals International (SSPI), the Satellite industry's largest membership association. He earned a master's in business from Emory University and also holds a bachelor's degree in Managerial Economics from Union College of Schenectady, New York.
