Industry Veteran Joins Neterion's Board of Directors as Head of Audit Committee; Corporate Financing Expert R. Douglas Norby's Extensive Experience To Guide Neterion through Next Stage of Growth

CUPERTINO, Calif.--(CCNMatthews - Nov 14, 2005) -

Neterion, the industry leader in the emerging 10 Gigabit Ethernet adapter market for server and storage environments, announced that it has appointed R. Douglas Norby as the company's first outside Director. Mr. Norby is an expert in providing guidance to emerging technology companies in the areas of financial management, alliance activities, funding and determining appropriate exit strategies. He currently sits on the boards of LSI Logic, Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Jazz Semiconductor and STATS ChipPAC, Inc.

Mr. Norby currently serves as Senior VP and CFO of Tessera Technologies in San Jose. Prior to that, his background included CFO positions at LSI Logic, Mentor Graphics, Novalux, Syntex Corporation, Zambeel and Itel. He was a consultant at McKinsey & Company, as well as VP of Finance at Fairchild Camera and First Chicago Corporation. Mr. Norby was also President and COO of Lucasfilm, one of California's leading entertainment studios.

Mr. Norby was awarded his MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration and graduated with distinction, Baker Scholar. He received his BA from Harvard University in Economics and graduated Magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa.
