The CSB1890T10 offers the highest performance available in the Industry Standard COM Express Type 10 Mini Form Factor. The highly efficient quad x86 "Jaguar" cores coupled with AMD's advanced GPU technology insures that multimedia rich and GPU compute heavy applications are handled with ease.

Available in either commercial temperature (0C to +70C) or extended temperature (-40C to +85C), the CSB1890T10 delivers the features needed for a wide variety of SWaP (Size, Weight and Power) constrained applications. The soldered down memory w/ECC enables deployment into shock and vibration sensitive environments. The Cogent CSB1890T10 will be available for a minimum of 7 years, thus allowing it's inclusion into projects with long life requirements.

Cogent has recently conducted benchmark tests on the GX420 and GX411 APU's versus the Intel E3845 and i3-4010U. All units tested were supplied with 4GB single channel DDR3 at rated speed of CPU (except the i3-4010U which was fitted with 8GB dual channel memory) and a 32GB SSD. Tests were conducted under Windows 7 with all updates installed. 

Processors Tested:

  • AMD's GX-420 (2.0GHz Quad Core w/ 4GB of memory) - CSB1890T10-Q20
  • AMD's GX-411 (1.1GHz Quad Core w/ 4GB of memory) - CSB1890T10-Q11E
  • Intel's Baytrail E3845 (1.91GHz Quad Core w/ 4GB of memory)
  • Intel's i3-4010U (1.7GHz Quad Core w/ 8GB of memory)

Passmark 7.0 - Tests overall performance in several categories. As can be seen, the Extended Temperature GX411 beats the Baytrail in virtually all categories, while the GX420 competes strongly with the i3-4010U, which is not even available in a Type-10 Mini! Note that the passmark results are the top level summaries. Cogent can supply the full detailed tests upon request to allow you to see any specific tests of interest.

Compubench CL 1.5, Tests Performance using GPU as Compute Engine. The GX411 actually holds up well against the i3-4010U (Gigabyte Brix i3), while the GX420 far surpasses it in almost every category. Baytrail E3845 simply does not compete in this area.
