Infinera Joins Allied Fiber's Dark Fiber Community

SUNNYVALE, CA--(Marketwire - January 6, 2011) - Infinera (NASDAQ: INFN), the provider of Digital Optical Networks, announced today that it has joined Allied Fiber's Dark Fiber Community. The Dark Fiber Community (DFC) is an online vendor directory that mirrors the fiber eco-system with participants ranging from fiber technology and equipment manufacturers to infrastructure providers and service vendors. Allied Fiber is a carrier-neutral provider of dark fiber with a national footprint and through its DFC brings together key vendors and facilitates discussions with industry experts to provide services to build their networks.
