Infinite Peripherals and Opticon Establish Partnership for OPL2724 Bluetooth(C) Barcode Scanner

Scanner Will Work Seamlessly With BlackBerry Smartphones

IRVINE, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 16, 2007 -- Infinite Peripherals Inc (IPC), a leading provider of mobility and OEM hardware and printing solutions, announced today their strategic partnership with Opticon Inc. Since its inception in 1993, IPC has positioned itself as an industry leader and best-in-class supplier of printers, mechanisms and innovative mobility solutions to customers around the world.

The arrangement will provide IPC with North American distribution rights to the OPL2724 barcode scanning product. Together with MobileVision, IPC plans to market "plug-and-play" software and a range of turnkey solutions for use with all Bluetooth-enabled BlackBerry® smartphones from Research in Motion (NASDAQ: RIMM) (TSX: RIM). The collaboration will provide businesses with simple, powerful tools to automate inventory management, track assets, complete sales orders, collect data, adhere to procedural compliances and maintain security logs.

The OPL2724 is a durable, high quality barcode scanner that communicates via Bluetooth® wireless technology to BlackBerry smartphones. The scanner is simple to use: just point, click and scan. As soon as the information is scanned it is securely recorded into any IPC solution, such as MobileCharge™, MobileScan™ and IntelliForms™, or can be recorded into almost any application already running on the handset. This partnership marks a new standard of reliability, manageability and cost-effectiveness for Bluetooth® peripherals such as barcode scanners.

"We have tested a number of portable scanners and the OPL2724 provides a level of reliability, ruggedness and features unmatched for the price," said Jeff Scott, VP of Sales for Infinite Peripherals. "This partnership marks a new standard of scalability, manageability and cost-effectiveness for Bluetooth® barcode scanners. We believe the OPL2724 presents the most compelling value proposition on the market."

"IPC has demonstrated true market and technical expertise in the mobility space," says Stacy Clay, Director of Marketing for Opticon, Inc. "Their innovative, turn key solutions provide high value and low total cost of ownership for mobile applications for the community of business users running the BlackBerry solution."
