Infoblox Names New Vice President of Engineering


SANTA CLARA, CA--(Marketwire - August 13, 2007) - Infoblox Inc. today announced that Sohail Parekh has joined the company as vice president of engineering. He will be responsible for driving the development of Infoblox's industry-leading core network services appliances, which deliver utility-grade domain name resolution (DNS), IP address assignment and management services (DHCP and IPAM), authentication and authorization (RADIUS), configuration (TFTP/HTTP), and network time (NTP).

With more than 20 years in engineering and development roles, including experience in building products from concept to deployment, Sohail has a long history of enterprise and telco-grade networking infrastructure development.

He also has broad networking, security, Voice over IP (VoIP) and telecom expertise accumulated in similar roles at Syndeo Corporation, Junction Inc., Precision Systems and Grumman Data Systems, amongst others. Sohail holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston.
