FAIRFAX, VA--(Marketwired - Apr 1, 2014) - InfoReliance will be leading an effort to further the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) continuous diagnostics and mitigation (CDM) program goals by designing and implementing the Federal-level CDM Dashboard.
InfoReliance will be working with DHS's Federal Network Resilience office to analyze commercial alternatives in designing the dashboard solution. Over the next five years, InfoReliance, as a subcontractor to Metrica Team Venture, will release updates to the dashboard for implementation at the agency and federal levels, with the first release scheduled for later this year. InfoReliance will also lead the coordination with the 17 continuous monitoring as-a-service (CMaaS) vendors that will deploy the solution at each agency.
Once operational, the CDM dashboards will give DHS officials unprecedented visibility into the current state of network security within each civilian agency. This summary dashboard will transform the way DHS reports compliance with statutory regulations and will also provide key insights to modernize federal information assurance practices. Furthermore, agency officials will be able to leverage this solution to help manage network security and simplify the reporting process.
GSA Federal Acquisition Service's Federal Systems Integration and Management Center (FEDSIM) awarded the $47M task order on March 3, 2014 under the Alliant Small Business GWAC to Metrica Team Venture. Metrica Inc., the lead partner for Metrica Team Venture, has teamed with InfoReliance, the technical lead, and Zeichner Risk Analytics to deliver cybersecurity and data analytics expertise for this effort.
"We are extremely excited to have been selected to help DHS and the Administration with this critical component to what they have described as one of their top cybersecurity priorities," said Joe Zimmerman, InfoReliance's Vice President of Consulting Services.
