Information Security Magazine Accepting Nominations for the First Annual Security Seven Awards

NEEDHAM, MA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- July 11, 2005 -- Information Security magazine and SearchSecurity.com will honor innovative security practitioners in seven vertical markets this fall with the inaugural Security Seven Awards. The awards, to be handed out in October at the Information Security Decisions conference, will recognize the efforts, achievements and contributions of practitioners in the financial services, telecommunications, manufacturing, energy, government, education and health care industries.

While vendor executives are not eligible, we're inviting you to nominate your most innovative practitioners. Nominees must have made a noteworthy contribution to their organization or the security community in areas such as, but not limited to, research, product development, standards work and community contributions.

A panel of judges will review all nominations and select the winners based on their contributions to the community and their organizations. Winners will be profiled in the October issue of Information Security magazine, and will be invited to speak at the Information Security Decisions conference in New York. Awards will be presented during a special luncheon at the conference.
