Infortrend 16G Fibre Channel Solutions Pass Microsoft Exchange 2013 Solution Reviewed Program

High Efficiency, Flexible Capacity 16G FC Storages Provide Ideal Storage Solutions for Exchange Server

SUNNYVALE, CA--(Marketwired - Aug 7, 2013) - Infortrend® (TPE: 2495) today announced that its groundbreaking 16G Fibre Channel (FC) storage solutions have passed the Microsoft latest released Exchange 2013 Solution Reviewed Program and have been on the first storage groups verified as bringing ultra-high efficiency and scalability to Microsoft Exchange 2013 email environments.

Infortrend's 16G FC EonStor DS G7i models -- the world's first 16G FC storage -- when combined with Microsoft Exchange Server 2013, provide high performance and very low latency. Verified to support from 1 to 9,000 mailboxes on a single system, the solution has the potential to grow to support up to 30,000 mailboxes by expansion enclosures. This provides the users with the benefit of flexibility in selecting a mailbox capacity which is most suitable for their business needs.

Josie Wang, Director of Partner Business and Development at Microsoft, said, "Despite the growth of instant messaging and other communication methods, email is still the number one choice for enterprises and organizations require a dependable email solution at their core. In passing the ESRP 2013, Infortrend's new 16G Fibre Channel solutions have proven themselves an ideal solution for the latest Microsoft-based email environments."

Thomas Kao, Senior Director of Product Planning at Infortrend, said, "We continue to work closely with Microsoft to provide ever-enhanced service and solutions to our customers. To have our new 16G FC models verified by the Microsoft Exchange 2013 Solution Reviewed Program provides customers with the confidence that Infortrend's storage features and technologies are supporting Microsoft Exchange Server 2013."

Exchange Server 2013 is Microsoft's latest email server solution. The ESRP (Exchange Solution Reviewed Program) is designed to facilitate third party storage testing for Microsoft's Exchange Server. The Infortrend storage solutions that are ESRP-compliant can be found on Microsoft's web link: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/ff182054.aspx.
