INFORUM Hosts Arianna Huffington and Sheryl Sandberg at Louis M. Davies Symphony Hall

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Jan 14, 2014) - INFORUM at the Commonwealth Club today announced that it will host Arianna Huffington on Thursday, March 27th, 2014 for an interview conducted by Sheryl Sandberg at Louis M. Davies Symphony Hall. The interview entitled, "Arianna Huffington with Sheryl Sandberg: Redefining Success" will highlight Arianna's new book, "Thrive: The Third Metric to Redefining Success and Creating a Life of Well-Being, Wisdom, and Wonder." In addition to the on-stage interview, INFORUM will host a premium reception giving attendees a chance to toast to success with Arianna herself.

Best known for her Pulitzer Prize-winning news website, The Huffington Post, Arianna Huffington is no stranger to accomplishment. Named to Forbes' Most Influential Women in Media, she has become a household name for journalism and entrepreneurship, and yet still seeks to redefine success. Huffington is now leading a groundbreaking movement to make success equally inclusive of personal health, well-being, and giving back. This movement is launched in her forthcoming book, "The Third Metric," which will be released on March 25, just two days prior to our public event.

Arianna Huffington will be interviewed by Sheryl Sandberg, chief operating officer of Facebook, and author of New York Times' best-seller "Lean In." Sandberg was previously vice president of global online sales and operations at Google, chief of staff for the United States Secretary of the Treasury, and was named to Time's 100 Most Influential People in the World for 2012. These two female powerhouses will challenge us to re-envision "conquest" as we know it.

"It is truly an honor to host these two highly impressive female leaders at the beautiful Louis M. Davies Symphony Hall. With all eyes on San Francisco to blaze the trail for technology, entrepreneurship and the power of women, I can't imagine a more fitting topic or setting," said Caroline Moriarity Sacks, INFORUM Director.

The interview will take place at the Louise M. Davies Symphony Hall on Thursday, March 27, at 7 p.m. PT. For more information and to register for tickets, call (415) 597-6705 or register online at
