Infrax Systems (IFXY) Introduces Secure Network Interface Card

Domestic Product Launch Scheduled for February 1 at DistribuTECH in San Diego

ST. PETERSBURG, FL--(Marketwire - January 6, 2011) - Infrax Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: IFXY), a global provider of unified Smart Grid-related products and services for the Energy and Utility industries, announced today that the company will officially launch their proprietary Secure Network Interface Card (SNIC) at DistribuTECH 2011, February 1, in San Diego, California.

DistribuTECH is the utility industry's leading smart grid conference and exposition, covering automation and control systems, energy efficiency, demand response, renewable energy integration, advanced metering, T&D system operation and reliability, power delivery equipment and water utility technology. Smart Grid solutions and proprietary technologies exclusively launched by Infrax Systems at this industry recognized show and conference, will be demonstrated at the companies booth #547.

"The proprietary Secure Network Interface Card (SNIC) addresses the Advanced Metering Infrastructure requirements of the electric utilities worldwide by providing secure two way communications between the meter and the control center of the energy company," says Paul J. Aiello, CEO of Infrax Systems. "Although the initial launch addresses the US market, the basic design can easily be modified to meet the requirements of any electric utility anywhere on the globe." Aiello concludes, "The military grade encryption based on trusted platform module and patented authentication mechanism provides one of the highest levels of security available today in this space."

The universal host interface board houses two wireless modules -- one for the home area networking and the other for wide area networking. The WAN module uses a standards based communication protocol that is extremely reliable and deterministic in nature. The smart meter card will be the first of several products under development, as part of Infrax's Secure Intelligent Energy Platform (SIEP).
