Infusion Brands Strengthens Executive Team With New Sales Team Appointments

Michael Simacek to Lead Retail Expansion as Executive Vice President of Sales, North America

CLEARWATER, FL--(Marketwired - Oct 15, 2014) - Infusion Brands, Inc., a leading consumer product brand marketing company (OTCQB: ASTV), today announced several new key appointments to its Executive Team. Michael Simacek will oversee all domestic sales operations for Infusion Brands as the company's new Executive Vice President of Sales, North America. In his new role, Simacek will be supported by additional new sales team hires -- Vice Presidents of Sales, Doug Petty and Mike Hannigan. Together, the new team touts over 75 years of combined sales experience, and will be responsible for managing and gaining new vendor relationships for Infusion Brands.

Simacek will work from Minneapolis, the location of Infusion Brands' new satellite sales office. With Target and Best Buy's corporate offices based in Minneapolis, this location could not be more geographically perfect to prepare Infusion Brands for unprecedented growth and success in the next calendar year.

Simacek comes to Infusion Brands from his role as Managing Partner of the Frontline Edelston Group Minneapolis office. While at Frontline, he was responsible for growing the business to profitable levels, including Target, Best Buy and Menards. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Sales for Grandrich Lighting and Luckytown Home Products from 2002 to 2009, growing the business and categories exponentially while traveling extensively overseas for key customer meetings and product development in China and Taiwan. Simacek became the company's top sales person in America.

Petty has over 30 years of experience in the Consumer Housewares Industry and has spent the last few months building his own sales and consulting business. Prior to that, Petty was Vice President of Business Development for Positive Lifestyle International (Tony Little Brands), where he oversaw the worldwide global distribution of the PLI product portfolio to all retail channels. Prior to joining PLI, Petty served as Vice President Sales of HoMedics-Sharper Image. During his 15-year tenure, he was instrumental in turning the $60M health and wellness company into a dominant category leader with sales in excess of $500M.

Hannigan has spent the last 12 years as National Sales Manager at Midland Radio Corporation, where he gained a strong understanding of consumer product wholesale sales and the retailer customer base. While at Midland, he developed a national sales team of manufacturers reps to grow its business by 30X. That successful venture put Midland products in all major retailers and pushed the company to the #1 position within its product categories. As National Sales Manager, he also gained experience in other disciplines including sourcing, packaging and in-store merchandising.
