ING Robotic Aviation Conducts Responder UAV Maintenance Training for East African Customers

OTTAWA, ON--(Marketwired - September 26, 2014) - ING Robotic Aviation, Canada's leader in robotic aircraft, is conducting a ten-day maintenance course for East African-based Keymerging Technologies on the Responder, a small rotary wing robotic aircraft system. The course will take place this week at ING Robotic Aviation's facility in Ottawa, Ontario.

Maintenance is a key task for preserving the longevity of technology, and robotic aircraft are no different. During this ten-day course, the students will learn detailed information on the mechanical and electrical aspects of the Responder system, as well as programming of the autopilot. At the end of the course, the students will be able to perform first, second and third line maintenance for their Responder systems.

"The end client has been using the 2 Responders that were purchased for over a year full time," states Mr. Sherman for Keymerging Technologies. "They haven't been in a rush to do the maintenance course due to the high reliability of the systems. They have had zero failures, crashes or flight incidents."

Keymerging Technologies purchased two Responder systems in August of 2013. Equipped with both electro-optical and infrared cameras, the company continues to use the Responder for aerial border surveillance in East Africa. Full details on the sale can be found here:
