Ingate SIParator® Named Product of the Year by Unified Communications® Magazine

STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN--(Marketwire - March 17, 2008) - Ingate® Systems (www.ingate.com), which develops firewall technology and products that enable SIP communications for the enterprise while maintaining control and security at the network edge, announced today that Technology Marketing Corporation's (TMC®) Unified Communications magazine (www.uc-mag.com) has named the Ingate SIParator® as a recipient of its 2007 Product of the Year Award.

The SIParator is a security edge device that allows businesses to use VoIP and all other forms of SIP communication outside the enterprise network (as well as within the Local Area Network [LAN]) when connecting to SIP trunks or to remote workers by solving the Network Address Translation (NAT) traversal issues with the protocol, while maintaining the security and integrity of the enterprise network. The SIParator works in tandem with an existing SIP-unaware firewall to allow the secure traversal of SIP communications, while leaving the traditional firewall in place to secure data traffic.

"Ingate Systems has proven they are committed to quality and excellence while addressing real needs in the marketplace. Unified Communications is pleased to grant a 2007 Product of the Year Award to their SIParator," said Rich Tehrani, TMC president and editor-in-chief of Unified Communications magazine. "We are proud to honor their hard work and accomplishments and look forward to more innovative solutions from Ingate in the future."

"Unified communications is the next evolution in Internet communications for businesses. Ingate's SIP-enabling security technologies position enterprises to leverage the full breadth of SIP applications to utilize UC now, and in the future," said Olle Westerberg, chief executive officer, Ingate Systems. "Ingate is proud to be honored by Unified Communications with the Product of the Year Award."

A full list of Product of the Year winners will be published in the March, 2008 issue of Unified Communications magazine. For more information about TMC, please visit www.tmcnet.com.
