Ingram Micro Annual Golf Tournaments Raise $680,000 for Local Charities

Associates and Vendor and Customer Partners Tee Off for Eight Charities at East and West Coast Tournaments

IRVINE, CA and BUFFALO, NY--(Marketwired - Dec 15, 2015) - Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM) today announced it has raised $680,000 combined at its two recent charity golf tournaments. The 20th Annual East Coast Charity Golf Tournament, which took place earlier this month at the Links at Ivy Ridge in Akron, N.Y., raised $300,000. The 22nd Annual West Coast Charity Golf Tournament took place in October 2015 at Pelican Hill Golf Club in Newport Coast and raised $380,000.

The funds from each tournament were donated to four local charity organizations, selected by Ingram Micro's Philanthropic Committee. In Buffalo, Amanda Hansen Foundation, Lothlorien Therapeutic Riding Center, WNY Kids are Heroes Too and Hearts for the Homeless were chosen as beneficiaries. In Irvine, The Alzheimer's Association of Orange County, The ALS Association Orange County Chapters, Collette's Children's Home and Together We Rise were selected as the recipients.

"Our annual golf tournaments are a reflection of Ingram Micro's core value of social responsibility and continue a longstanding tradition of giving back to the communities in which we work and live," said Paul Bay, executive vice president and chief executive, Ingram Micro U.S. and export. "The annual outing is a fun way to bring our associates and business partners together and help support and raise awareness of the profound impact these eight nonprofits have in their respective communities. I am proud to work for a company and alongside colleagues that give back so generously."

The two events, which were made possible in part by donations from associates and manufacturer partners featured a combined total of nearly 300 golfers and were managed by approximately 100 volunteers. All proceeds benefitted each region's chosen local charities.

Ingram Micro began hosting charity golf tournaments in 1991. The tour annual tournaments have raised more than $3.5M to date.
