Ingram Micro Executive Honored for Leadership, Community Service

Buffalo Executive Susan O'Sullivan Named to List of Western New York Power 250, Earns Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erie County Volunteer Award

BUFFALO, NY--(Marketwired - Apr 11, 2016) - Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM) is proud to announce that Susan O'Sullivan, executive director, Advanced Solutions, Cisco business unit, and the executive overseeing the Buffalo offices of Ingram Micro, has been recognized with two distinct honors in her hometown of Buffalo.

In February, O'Sullivan was named to the fourth-annual list of Top 250 Power People by Buffalo Business First, the Buffalo business journal's annual list of most influential people in Western New York. The Buffalo Power 250 is a compilation of the movers and shakers who make a difference in the Buffalo Niagara region with rankings determined by Buffalo Business First reporters and editors after weeks of research, reporting and debate.

"The news staff concedes that there is no formula anywhere for computing power and influence since both mean different things to different people," said Donna Collins, managing editor of Buffalo Business First. "But most of us will agree to this: Everyone knows power and influence when we see it."

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erie County also honored O'Sullivan recently with the Women Who Move the City award for her volunteer work throughout the region. The annual award recognizes women who volunteer throughout the Western New York area for their positive impact on the lives of others and the community. The 2016 honorees will be celebrated during an event on April 20.

"This event honors women in our community who are doing remarkable things to support our efforts as well as those of other worthy organizations in the region," said Thomas Guagliardo, CEO, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erie County. "This is our way of saying thank you for their amazing dedication."

O'Sullivan, a Buffalo native, has been with Ingram Micro for more than 25 years after starting in 1990 as an assistant sales rep. She earned a bachelor's degree in business management from Canisius College. She currently serves on the executive board for the United Way of Western New York.
