Ingram Micro Human Resources Professional Receives Top Honor From Peers

Buffalo Niagara Human Resources Association Recognizes Ingram Micro's Christie Joseph as HR Professional of the Year


BUFFALO, NY--(Marketwire - Apr 6, 2012) - Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM) is proud to announce that Christie Joseph, senior human resources manager at Ingram Micro Buffalo, has been recognized as Human Resources (HR) Professional of the Year by the Buffalo Niagara HR Association (BNHRA). Joseph was honored along with several of her peers during the association's annual awards event on March 22, 2012.

The 2012 BNHRA HR Excellence Awards were developed to celebrate success in the human resources field by recognizing HR professionals and organizations that exemplify outstanding performance and achievement within the community. The HR professionals honored by BNHRA are members of their respective HR management departments and responsible for oversight of day-to-day HR operations.

Joseph joined Ingram Micro's HR team in 2007. She quickly progressed in her career and is currently the senior HR manager. In this role, Joseph provides HR expertise and consulting to Ingram Micro divisional leadership in support of organizational effectiveness as well as overall business strategies, starting at the associate level. She has a bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Oswego, and earned her Senior Professional in Human Resources certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute.

In addition, Ingram Micro associate Ashley Weaver was nominated for the Buffalo Niagara HR Association's HR Community Volunteer of the Year award, an honor showcasing those HR professionals who serve on numerous committees and boards while also displaying leadership qualities throughout the year. Weaver joined Ingram Micro in 2008 and is currently HR manager. She has a bachelor's degree from Canisius College and is on the board of directors for BNHRA.
