(NYSE: IM) is proud to announce that it has been honored with the "Outstanding Employee Culture Award" by the Buffalo Niagara HR Association (BNHRA) as part of its 2013 Human Resource Excellence Awards. The employee culture award recognizes those organizations that demonstrate measurable success in creating a positive employee culture, have a strong organizational identity and successfully translate corporate expectations into internal and organizational behaviors.

Also honored during the awards ceremony held on April 10 in Buffalo, NY, was Ingram Micro associate Ashley Cuthbertson, a human resources business partner based in Buffalo who supports Partner Shared Services. Cuthbertson accepted the 2013 BNHRA President's Award for Excellence as well as the Canisius College 2013 SHRM Learning System Course Scholarship. Cuthbertson joined Ingram Micro as an associate nearly five years ago. Prior to Ingram Micro, she worked at New England Financial. Cuthbertson is a graduate of Canisius College, where she earned a bachelor of science in management.

The 2012 BNHRA HR Excellence Awards were developed to celebrate success in the human resources field by recognizing HR professionals and organizations that exemplify outstanding performance and achievement within the community. The HR professionals honored by BNHRA are members of their respective HR management departments and responsible for oversight of day-to-day HR operations.

"Building a high-energy, high-performance company culture is a top priority at Ingram Micro and one of the reasons we were recently named one of the best companies to work for in Buffalo," says Jeffrey Streb, senior director of human resources, Ingram Micro North America. "This honor from BNHRA is a great celebration of the success our associates, and Ashley in particular, are having when it comes to building an outstanding company culture at Ingram Micro. We are thrilled to once again receive this honor from BNHRA."
