Leading Cloud Services Aggregator and Provider Expands Reach to 170 Countries #IMCloud2014


SANTA ANA, CA--(Marketwired - Mar 31, 2014) - Capitalizing on its success in North America, Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM), today announced it is expanding Ingram Micro Cloud into a worldwide services organization that will specialize locally and scale globally to accelerate the adoption of cloud services. 

Led by Executive Vice President of Global Cloud Computing Nimesh Dave, Ingram Micro Cloud now represents the distributor's cloud services business, which operates in approximately 170 countries and is clearly differentiated by its people, processes and platform.

Under the new worldwide organization, Ingram Micro's online marketplace, which features more than 200 solutions and 70 vendors, will adopt a global platform that is built to enhance the marketplace's capabilities and introduce a new series of cloud management services. Many of these new features and services will be introduced on April 8, 2014 at the fifth annual Ingram Micro Cloud Summit in Hollywood, Fla.

As part of Ingram Micro's new global cloud organization, Turker Sokullu, president and founder of Softcom, now also serves as vice president cloud platform and product design, Ingram Micro. Renee Bergeron, vice president cloud computing, has expanded her role to include global cloud sales and marketing. Both executives report directly to Dave and are supported by a growing team of cloud services professionals.
