Initial Tropical Plants Adds Greenery to the Tenth Annual "Hope for Fire Fighters" Event Benefiting the Los Angeles Fire Department Widows and Orphans and Disabled Firemen's Fund

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - June 14, 2007) - Initial Tropical Plants' Los Angeles branch office was a proud sponsor of the 10th annual Hope for Fire Fighters, www.hopeforfirefighters.org, event last week. The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), corporate sponsors and thousands of Angelinos gathered to honor the firefighters who risk their lives each day and to raise funds for the Los Angeles Firemen's Relief Association's Widows, Orphans and Disabled Firemen's Fund.

"At Initial Tropical Plants, we know the uplifting value of being surrounded by beautiful greenery," said Todd Ferguson, Vice President, Initial Tropical Plants based in Santa Fe Springs, California. "We sought to honor our brave fire fighters and provide a green oasis of calm and reflection." Initial Tropical Plants' Los Angeles team, led by Roel Ventura, provided dozens of plants including Kentia palms to the event.
