Innocent Inc. Appoints Peter Kent to Advisory Council

FORT WORTH, TX--(Marketwired - Jul 21, 2014) - Innocent Inc. (OTC: INCT) (the "Company"), a development stage oil and gas exploration and production company, is pleased to announce that it has appointed Peter Kent as a member of the Company's advisory council.

Peter Kent is a corporate commercial lawyer and business advisor with more than 35 years of experience. He has been a partner of three Bay Street law firms; vice president and general counsel of Tecsyn International, a publicly traded midsize Canadian, multi-unit industrial conglomerate with 13 profit centers globally; vice president and general counsel of Keating Technologies, a privately held branch outsource service provider in the high-tech sector; and director and advisor to numerous corporate boards, including corporations in the oil and gas sector, downstream players and industrial conglomerates.

Peter has extensive familiarity across the spectrum of governance, business and legal responsibilities and has conducted high-level negotiations leading to transactions with large corporations including Chevron, Texaco (USA), Mitsubishi Kasei (Tokyo), Hoganas (Sweden), Imperial Oil (Canada) and others. He has acted as a consultant or de facto in-house counsel to businesses in diverse industries to manage complex contracts and outside counsel relations resulting in aggregate transaction values exceeding $1 billion.

Peter is thus well-versed with deal architecture in mergers and acquisitions and related financings, including all complex contract negotiations and problem solving. He once obtained an unusual and rare rectification order signed by President George Bush to correct an error in law which was not otherwise capable of any legal or judicial resolution. As in-house counsel, Peter has selected, instructed and supervised world-class external counsel and managed such external counsel in more than 30 jurisdictions and comprising up to 200 matters at a time. Peter is also familiar with Canadian small businesses and their financing, including mining exploration companies with offshore assets.

Peter holds an Honours BA from the University of Toronto (economics), a J.D. (law) from the University of Toronto and an LL.M (taxation) from Osgoode Hall at York University.

"We are very pleased to add Peter Kent to our world-class advisory team. He joins Scott Davis and Denis Clement, and we are looking forward to working with him and the other committee members as we grow our company," commented Innocent CEO Patrick Johnson.
