Innovative Program Supports Youth Identifying as LGBTQ2S Experiencing Homelessness

Aura Host Homes First of Its Kind in Alberta


CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - June 11, 2015) - On Friday, June 12th, the Province of Alberta, Ministry of Human Services, the Calgary Homeless Foundation (CHF), and Boys and Girls Clubs of Calgary (BGCC) will make a joint announcement for new innovative programming in support of Youth identifying as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Transexual, Queer, Questioning and 2-Spirited (LGBTQ2S) who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness.

Dr. Alex Abramovich, nationally recognized leader in the area of LGBTQ2S youth homelessness, Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH)
