Innovative Solutions and Misys Healthcare Systems Forge New Relationship

Henrietta IT Firm Brings Nationwide Electronic Medical Record Software Solutions to Rochester Area Physicians

ROCHESTER, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 13, 2006 -- Today, Innovative Solutions, located in Henrietta, N.Y. and known for their Information Technology (IT) and Healthcare Industry strategies, announces that it has become an official business partner of Misys Healthcare Systems, a market leader in healthcare IT. Innovative Solutions is presently the only reseller in the area trained and certified in Misys Electronic Medical Records (EMR) technology.

Currently, less than 15% of physicians nationwide use EMR in their medical practice, and Innovative Solutions plans to increase this percentage over the next three years. EMR technology allows physicians to streamline their practices, be able to retrieve and input data through a tablet PC, and have access virtually anytime, anywhere. Innovative Solutions will be providing the software and will act as the local support channel of Misys Healthcare Systems. This is the first venture in the Healthcare Industry where Innovative Solutions will be acting as a direct reseller, implementer and local support provider.

"We have the opportunity to work with a company that is always on the leading edge of new healthcare technology, and one of the top five healthcare IT companies in North America," said David Spaker, vice president of Innovative Solutions. "We are thrilled to be able to bring an industry-leading EMR application to our clients and to be able to expand the offerings that we are currently providing to those clients."

Innovative Solutions will work in conjunction with Misys' sales staff to provide EMR to medical practices in Western, N.Y. They will also act as an Application Service Provider (ASP) for physicians who choose this model.

As an ASP provider, Innovative Solutions will host the Misys EMR® application and provide it as a service to physicians for a nominal monthly fee. As an ASP, they take the overhead and maintenance cost of housing servers off of the physicians while keeping all medical records secure. This new partnership will enable Misys to capture market share among the small to mid-size medical practices in addition to the larger hospitals and medical universities that they currently serve.

Additionally, Innovative Solutions will be hiring nurses and other medical professionals with physicians' office experience and training them on the installation and overall support of the EMR technology. Professionals in the medical field will now be expanding their role and responsibilities to include technology.

Misys Healthcare Systems, one of the top five healthcare IT companies in North America, develops and supports reliable, easy-to-use software and services of exceptional quality that enable physicians and caregivers to more easily manage the complexities of healthcare. Misys' family of leading clinical products and Web-based technologies -- Misys Optimum™ solutions -- are designed from the ground up to share patient data across all medical care settings.
