INPEX Holdings to Construct $910 Million LNG Receiving and Regasification Terminal in Japan, an Industrial Info News Alert

SUGAR LAND, TX--(Marketwire - September 18, 2008) - Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas) -- INPEX Holdings Incorporated (TYO:1605) (Tokyo), through its wholly owned subsidiary Teikoku Oil Company Limited (Tokyo), is planning to construct a new liquefied natural gas (LNG) import terminal at Naoetsu Port in Joetus City in the Niigata prefecture in northwestern Japan. The new Naoetsu LNG terminal will have an initial LNG import capacity of 500,000 to 1 million metric tons of LNG per year and a full capacity of 1.5 million metric tons per year of LNG at a later date.
