Inphi to Showcase iMB-Enabled LRDIMM Technology at the Intel Developer Forum (IDF) 2012 Beijing

SANTA CLARA, CA--(Marketwire - Apr 9, 2012) - Inphi Corporation (NYSE: IPHI), a leading provider of high-speed analog semiconductor solutions for the communications and computing markets, today announced its participation IDF 2012 Beijing.

When:
IDF 2012 Beijing will be held April 11-12, 2012.

Where:
Inphi will be in booth #GE11 at IDF 2012 Beijing, which is held at the China National Convention Center in Beijing, China.

Demonstration:
Visit Inphi's booth #GE11 to see a live technology demonstration showcasing cost effective Load Reduced DIMMs (LRDIMMS) from Micron. High Profile LRDIMM modules are a cost effective alternative to standard low profile modules. The demo will highlight the capacity, speed and cost benefits of Inphi's Isolation Memory Buffer (iMB™)-enabled LRDIMMs to memory intensive applications for data centers, cloud computing and high-performance computing.

Inphi's iMB technology is compatible with the current generation of DDR3-based server systems and helps to facilitate a transition to LRDIMMs. Unlike traditional registered DIMMs that limit the amount of server memory that can be installed due to their loading profile, LRDIMMs utilize a memory buffer to reduce the load. The new architecture enables more ranks of DRAM to be populated on the memory module and more modules to be used in a system for higher capacity and performance scaling.
