Inside LifeWay Podcast Launched; Calvinism Study Discussed Monday

NASHVILLE, TN -- (MARKET WIRE) -- September 15, 2006 --LifeWay Christian Resources today launched Inside LifeWay, a news and information podcast produced by LifeWay's corporate communications department. The program is intended to be a weekly production.

The first edition is a special report interview with Thom S. Rainer, president of LifeWay, regarding LifeWay's semiannual trustee meeting. Rainer candidly comments on the challenges LifeWay is facing and what he believes it will take for LifeWay to move toward "blue oceans." The interview follows the written report released Wednesday (9/13).

Other upcoming editions of Inside LifeWay are:

--  Monday, Sept. 18 - "Calvinism and the SBC." This features a
    conversation with Brad Waggoner, director of LifeWay Research and explores
    the prominence of Calvinism among SBC pastors according to recent data.
--  Monday, Sept. 25 - "Music, Technology and Worship." Mike Harland,
    director of LifeWay Worship Music Group, discusses the massive online
    hymnal project LifeWay is launching and its implications for local church
    worship ministries.
--  Monday, Oct. 2 - "Staff Terminations." A conversation with Bob
    Sheffield and Barney Self, both of LifeWay's pastoral ministries
    department, discussing their recently completed study on forced staff
    terminations.
--  Tuesday, Oct. 10 - "Left the Church." Waggoner discusses research done
    exploring why people have left the church, why they stay away and what
    would bring them back.
