Michael Plante has accepted the position of vice president of demand generation and will report to Chief Marketing Officer Mick Hollison. Plante's primary focus is driving increased demand for the company's sales acceleration platform and related business solutions.
Plante brings more than two decades of experience with technology companies both nationally and internationally. Most recently, he helped drive growth strategies for award-winning and category-leading products, such as GoToMeeting and GoToMyPC, as vice president of marketing strategy and operations for the $560 million SaaS division at Citrix.
Plante previously worked at Symantec, where he was the vice president of product marketing and marketing strategy. In this role, he was responsible for go-to-market and growth strategies for the $2 billion Norton portfolio of products. Before this role, Plante led Symantec's European consumer marketing organization, a 36-member team responsible for delivering $540 million in annual sales from consumers and small businesses across Europe.
