Insight Integrated Systems and NetApp Support Just In Time for Foster Youth

Charity Event Donations to Benefit Young Adults Transferring Out of Foster Care Into the Community

ORANGE, CA--(Marketwire - January 25, 2011) -  Insight Integrated Systems (IIS), a division of Insight Investments LLC, the industry experts in technology solutions and financing options, today announced that it has teamed up with NetApp for a second time to organize and sponsor a charitable fundraising event for local foster youth organization called Just In Time (JIT) for Foster Youth.

The private event was held on January 21, 2011 at The Magic Castle in Hollywood, California.

JIT for Foster Youth is a non-profit organization based in San Diego with a mission to help transitioning foster youths become productive members of society by providing crucial resources, guidance, and hope, thereby breaking the cycle of unemployment, homelessness, and crime among this underserved population.

As longtime successful technology business partners and dedicated corporate citizens of the southern California community, Insight Integrated Systems and NetApp have again teamed up to benefit this important organization.

Guests of the event were treated to a tour of the Magic Castle and speakers from JIT and Insight Integrated Systems, followed by dinner and tickets to a specialized magic show.

"Just In Time is an outstanding local organization that is making a difference in the lives of the foster youth in our community," said Chris Aliberti, vice president of National Sales, Insight Integrated Systems. "As a local provider of technology services, solutions and financing options we feel strongly about being involved in the community and we are proud to be able to continue to help further the cause of this great organization. This was our second event with JIT and all of us who attended were very impressed and deeply touched by the individuals at JIT."

JIT for Foster Youth has helped hundreds transition out of the foster care system and into the community by providing everything from basic and emergency needs, housing assistance, job training and educational support.

"Insight Integrated Systems and NetApp have been involved with our organization for two years now and we are grateful for their commitment and ongoing support. The donations and funds raised will make a real difference to our young adults going on to school or out into the workforce," said Don Wells, executive director of Just In Time for Foster Youth. "There are so many young people in our community who come out of foster care at the age of 18 and need some extra support to get out on their own. Our hearts are warmed by all of our volunteers and good corporate citizens like Insight Integrated Systems and NetApp. This was truly a magical event."

Donations collected from this event are a part of Just in Time for Foster Youth's "My First Home for the Holidays" that provides assistance and essential home goods such as grocery store gift cards, kitchen wares, cleaning supplies, bedding, and more, during the next holiday season.
