TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 29, 2008) - Inspiration Mining Corporation (the "Corporation")(TSX:ISM)(FRANKFURT:OI8) is pleased to announce the results of the continuation of their diamond drilling program on its Langmuir Project, located in Langmuir Township south of Timmins, Ontario. The Langmuir Property consists of 69 unpatented contiguous mining claim units covering approximately 1090 hectares in the north-central portion of Langmuir Township, Porcupine Mining Division, and District of Cochrane, Ontario. The property is approximately 25 km southeast of Timmins, Ontario, and hosts the past producing Langmuir No.1 Mine, and majority of the past producing Langmuir No. 2 Mine.

Inspiration is continuing the drilling at the Langmuir Project - Langmuir No.2 Mine - North Zone. The detail fill-in drill program is designed to complete the definition of the nickel bearing mineralization to the 100 metre level.

Drill holes LN07-72 to LN07-77 were completed at the North Zone on Section 3525 North, while drill holes LN07-78 to LN07-80 were completed approximately 25 metres to the north on Section 3550 North. Several of the drill holes intersected nickel values greater than 100 metres below surface, those being LN07-72, LN07-73, LN07-79 and LN07-80.

Drill holes LN07-72 and LN07-73 were completed from the same set-up, with hole LN07-72 being approximately 21 metres down-dip from previously released drill hole LN06-59 and LN07-73 being approximately 21 metres and 10.5 metres down-dip from LN06-58 and up-dip from LN07-59, respectively.

Drill holes LN07-74 and LN07-75 were completed from the same setup as previously released drill hole LN05-7 and were designed to intersect down-dip from LN05-7 and LN06-58, however, these holes wandered up-dip and were approximately 7 metres down-dip and 4 metres south, respectively.

Drill hole LN07-76 intersected the nickel mineralization approximately 20.5 metres up dip from LN05-7. Drill hole LN07-77 did not encounter the zone due to the presence of a wide felsic intrusive dyke, which was approximately 19.5 metres up dip from LN07-76.

Drill hole LN07-78 collared into the nickel mineralization and was approximately 18.5 metres up dip from previously released drill hole LN05-16.

Drill holes LN07-79 and LN07-80 were located approximately 58 metres grid east from LN07-78 and drilled beneath previously released drill holes LN05-16 to LN05-18, inclusively. Drill hole LN07-79 contained a wider intersection than LN05-18, however, the lower portion of the zone was lost due to the presence of a felsic intrusive dyke. The zones are approximately 26 metres and 50 metres down dip, respectively.

The nickel bearing sulphide mineralization, with estimations ranging from 1% to 20% fine-grained disseminatations up to massive 100% sulphides, is contained within serpentenized komatiitic ultramaftic extrusive flows with occasional spinifex texture.

The assaying technique used is the industry standard for base metal assaying, which uses nitric and hydrochloric acids that extracts nickel only from sulphide mineralization and not from nickel silicate minerals.

The assaying of split core samples was conducted by Swastika Laboratories, and included the insertion of blanks and standards. The Qualified Person in charge of the Langmuir Project and the person who prepared the technical data in this release is Kian Jensen, B.Sc., P.Geo. (Ont).
