TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Feb. 20, 2007) - Inspiration Mining Corporation (the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:ISM)(FRANKFURT:0I8) is pleased to announce the results of the continuation of their diamond drilling program on its Langmuir Project, located in Langmuir Township south of Timmins, Ontario. The Langmuir Property consists of 69 unpatented contiguous mining claim units covering approximately 1090 hectares in the north-central portion of Langmuir Township, Porcupine Mining Division, and District of Cochrane, Ontario. The property is approximately 25 km southeast of Timmins, Ontario, and hosts the past producing Langmuir No.1 Mine, and majority of the past producing Langmuir No. 2 Mine.

Inspiration is continuing the drilling at the Langmuir Project -- Langmuir No.1 Mine. The detail fill-in drill program is designed to complete the definition of the nickel bearing mineralization below the 300-foot mine level to a vertical depth of approximately 900 feet below surface.

The company has maintained the CIMM Exploration Best Practice with the inclusion of blanks and two sets of nickel standards.

The assaying technique used by Swastika Laboratories is the industry standard for base metal assaying, which uses nitric and hydrochloric acids that extracts nickel only from sulphide mineralization and not from nickel silicate minerals.

Drill holes L106-15 and L106-16 are located approximately 100 feet north of previously released drill holes L106-10 to L106-12. Drill hole L106-15 failed to intersect the nickel bearing East Zone due to the offset from a northerly trending fault while drill hole L106-16 intersected the nickel mineralization at a much shallower depth than planned. The 2 zones in L106-16 are approximately 28m (94ft) and 42m (141ft) mine grid northeast of the 315-foot level underground development at a vertical depth of 122m (400ft) and 102m (334ft), respectively.

Drill holes L106-17 to L106-19 were drilled at the same setup and between previously released L105-3 and L105-4, L106-7 to L106-9 to the south and L105-5 and L105-6 to the north. The footwall portion of the nickel mineralization in drill holes L106-17 to L106-19 are located approximately 25.9m (85ft), 53.0m (174ft) and 97.8m (321ft) down dip of the 315-foot underground development level.

The massive nickel bearing sulphides intersected in drill hole L106-17 contained 8.320% Ni from 156.20m to 157.20m was at the basal contact of the komatiitic flow and contained within the larger nickel mineralization zone yielding 1.044% Ni over 31.24m or 102.49 ft true width from 117.00m to 157.20m.

The massive nickel bearing sulphides intersected in drill hole L106-18 contained 12.215% Ni from 205.0m to 206.0m was below the basal contact of the komatiitic flow and in the intermediate metavolcanics and represents a new exploration target at the Langmuir No.1 Mine area.

The nickel bearing sulphide mineralization, with estimations ranging from 1% to 20% fine-grained disseminatations up to massive 100% sulphides, is contained within serpentenized komatiitic ultramaftic extrusive flows with occasional spinifex texture.

The assaying of split core samples was conducted by Swastika Laboratories, and included the insertion of blanks and standards. The Qualified Person in charge of the Langmuir Project and the person who prepared the technical data in this release is Kian Jensen, B.Sc., P.Geo. (Ont).
