TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 3, 2008) - Inspiration Mining Corporation (the "Corporation")(TSX:ISM)(FRANKFURT:OI8) is pleased to announce the results of the continuation of their diamond drilling program on its Langmuir Project, located in Langmuir Township south of Timmins, Ontario. The Langmuir Property consists of 69 unpatented contiguous mining claim units covering approximately 1090 hectares in the north-central portion of Langmuir Township, Porcupine Mining Division, and District of Cochrane, Ontario. The property is approximately 25 km southeast of Timmins, Ontario, and hosts the past producing Langmuir No.1 Mine, and majority of the past producing Langmuir No. 2 Mine.

Inspiration is continuing the drilling at the Langmuir Project - Langmuir No.1 Mine. The detail fill-in drill program is designed to complete the definition of the nickel bearing mineralization below the 300-foot mine level to a vertical depth of approximately 900 feet below surface.

Drill hole L107-97 and L107-98 were drilled from the same set-up as previously released drill hole L107-76. Drill hole L107-97 intersected two zones, which had a felsic dyke intrude the lower zone, approximately 154 feet down dip from previously released drill hole L107-57 and approximately 52 feet up dip from L107-57. Drill hole L107-98 was approximate 98 feet down dip from L107-76.

Drill holes L107-99 to L107-101 were drill from the same setup approximate 121 feet east and 10 feet north of previously released drill holes L107-29 and L107-30. Drill hole L107-99 was approximately 90 feet down dip from L107-30 but deviated to Section 3250 North.

Drill hole L107-100 was approximately 188 feet or 120 feet down dip from drill holes L107-30 and L107-99, respectively. L107-100 also deviated approximately 20 feet north. A small felsic intrusive dyke bisected the zone above the semi massive sulphides.

Drill holes L107-101 was approximate 125 feet down dip from L107-100 and approximately 85 feet up dip from previously released drill hole L107-87. The low anomalous nickel values indicate that the drill hole pierce the target area below the plunge of the nickel mineralization.

L107-101 anomalous values

The nickel bearing sulphide mineralization, with estimations ranging from 1% to 20% fine-grained disseminatations up to massive 100% sulphides, is contained within serpentenized komatiitic ultramaftic extrusive flows with occasional spinifex texture.

The assaying technique used is the industry standard for base metal assaying, which uses nitric and hydrochloric acids that extracts nickel only from sulphide mineralization and not from nickel silicate minerals.

The assaying of split core samples was conducted by Swastika Laboratories, and included the insertion of blanks and standards. The Qualified Person in charge of the Langmuir Project and the person who prepared the technical data in this release is Kian Jensen, B.Sc., P.Geo. (Ont).
