INSPIRE North Partners With McMaster University for Their First Leadership Conference

INSPIRE North in partnership with McMaster University, launches their first leadership conference to inspire and connect students to some of Canada's top influential leaders. The event will take place Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at the Ron Joyce Centre (4350 South Service Road, Burlington). Feature speakers include Mary Dalimonte, Senior Vice President of Merchandising and Commercial Programs at Sobeys and Chief Information Officer of Humber River Hospital, Peter Bak. The conference will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. The event is free to all McMaster students who register online at the student portal:

Dalimonte is an accomplished professional with over 35 years of experience in the grocery retail industry. As Senior Vice President, Dalimonte is responsible for stewarding Sobeys Urban Fresh operations, merchandising, marketing teams and fostering key external relationships with store operators and suppliers. Bak has over 25 years of experience managing healthcare software development, product commercialization, consulting, and executive leadership. Bak owns a medical software organization providing healthcare solutions to the veterinary market in Asia and North America.

INSPIRE North's first conference at McMaster will provide students with the opportunity to learn, experience and become inspired by these Canadian leaders incredible journeys that led them to where they are today. Students will be exposed to the motivation, dedication, and importance of overcoming challenges to reach goals of success. The evening will include an interview with the speakers followed by a Q&A and networking session with students.
