Members of the Working Group

Andre Bisson, chair of this working Group and chair of the board of directors of the CIRANO interuniversity research centre.

The other members of the working group are:

Jean-Claude Deschenes has held a number of important positions in the Government of Quebec, notably that of deputy minister of social affairs. Mr. Deschenes is chair of the board of directors of the Centre hospitalier universitaire de Quebec (CHUQ) and sits on the board of the Regie des rentes du Quebec.

Gerard R. Douville spent the last 35 years at various executive functions for Quebec hospitals. He is actually management consultant.

Diane Drouin is assistant vice president of the Association quebecoise d'etablissements de sante et services sociaux (AQESSS) and chair of the Centre de sante et de services sociaux (CSSS) Drummond.

Francois Joly is president and chair of the board of directors of the Fondation de l'Institut de geriatrie de Montreal. Mr. Joly also chairs the board of directors of the Ecole nationale d'administration publique (ENAP).

Louis Lapierre is a former member of the board of the faculty of medicine of the Universite de Montreal. He was chief of medicine at Hopital Notre-Dame de Montreal for 12 years.

Andre Senikas has been a member of the Quebec Medical Association's board of directors since 1997 and acted as its chair from 2003 to 2005.

Marcel Villeneuve has been working in the healthcare field for over 30 years and has occupied various positions at the Regie regionale de la sante et des services sociaux de Montreal-Centre. He is currently the president of C.M.S.A. Inc.

Michel Nadeau (ex officio member)

Mr. Nadeau is the executive director of the Institute for Governance of Private and Public Organizations.
