This event was organized by the Chapter to provide up to date information on the technologies that support forensic auditing. The attendees to this seminar will learn how to effectively preserve electronic information and receive an overview of how companies can deploy computer forensics as a tool to protect their intellectual property and identify and prosecute corporate fraud. This co-presentation will allow the best of both worlds for internal auditors as Mr. Neubecker will provide details on the technological aspects of computer forensics while Mr. Nelson will provide insight into the legal intricacies of deploying computer forensics as an investigative tool.

Mr. Neubecker's expertise stems from his experience as the President and CEO of Forensicon, Inc., a computer forensics firm. Mr. Nelson, whose areas of practice includes patent infringement and validity analysis, patent prosecution and patent litigation, drafting of license agreements, state court intellectual property claims, and counterfeit product policing and enforcement, has worked together with Mr. Neubecker on high profile trademark and patent infringement litigation. Both experts are able to lend a practical aspect to their presentation on how technology and auditing can work in concert to successfully accomplish specific outcomes.
